The daughter of actors Shatrughan and Poonam, she started her vocation in film as an outfit creator. She made her acting introduction as Salman Khan's driving woman in the exceedingly fruitful activity show Dabangg (2010), for which she won the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut.
